My name is Melissa Jones and I moved to Lightmoor in 2011. I am married and have 1 daughter who now attends Lightmoor Village primary school. I have worked in Human Resources for many years, most recently for an IT company based in Telford. I enjoy volunteering in my local community and trying to make a difference. I was previously the secretary for the Lightmoor Village Community Group (LVCG) and I am therefore very aware of both the positives and challenges of living in our lovely village. I was keen to join the governing body at our school as I want to do my bit to ensure all of the children have a good start in learning the skills and behaviours needed to go on and do well in the world of work.
